Aloha Card Shop Text Messages

Program: Aloha Card Shop sends text messages to customers who sign up, about (1) their card grading (PSA) submissions, for example when a submission is ready for pickup, and (2) Aloha Card Shop in-store events such as tournaments, release events and PSA submission events. You choose which of these two topics you want.

How you sign up

1. On our members site. Signed-in members open the Texts tab at members.alohacardshop.com, enter their mobile number, choose topics (PSA pickups, Events) and tick an unchecked I agree box next to this text:

"Text me about my PSA submissions and Aloha Card Shop events. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not required to buy anything. Terms & privacy: https://www.alohacardshop.com/pages/sms-terms"

2. At our store counter. When you drop off cards for grading, our staff ask whether you would like texts. Only if you agree, staff tick an unchecked box "Customer agrees to receive texts at this number" in our system, which shows this text:

"Aloha Card Shop will text you about your PSA submissions (like when they are ready for pickup) and, if you choose, about shop events. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not required to buy anything. Terms & privacy: https://www.alohacardshop.com/pages/sms-terms"

The boxes are never pre-checked, and you do not have to agree to texts to submit cards, attend events or buy anything. After you sign up you receive one confirmation text, for example: "Aloha Card Shop: you're signed up for PSA pickup and event texts. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."

"Aloha Card Shop: your PSA submission SUB-00002664 is ready for pickup at Ward Ave. Bring ID. Reply STOP to opt out."

"Aloha Card Shop: Pokemon league starts Sat 1pm at Ward Ave. Details at members.alohacardshop.com/events. Reply STOP to opt out."

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies: usually one or two texts per grading submission and a few event texts per month if you choose Events. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts; you will receive one final confirmation. You can also turn texts off on the Texts tab of the members site. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at admin@alohacardshop.com or 808-591-9955. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS privacy

We use your mobile number only to send the texts described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Your number is processed only by the service providers that deliver our messages (such as our SMS provider), solely to send these texts.
