How we handle your comics

Shipping

Packed like a collector

Raw books ship bagged & boarded in a rigid comic mailer; slabs ship boxed with padding. We ship from Honolulu by USPS (Ground Advantage or Priority Mail), US addresses only. Comics ship free on orders of $100 or more; under that you pay the live USPS rate at checkout plus $1.50 for packing.

Photos

Sample covers on raw books

Photos of raw books may be a sample (stock) cover, marked “Sample Image — Not Actual Item”. Graded slab photos show the actual slab. Want a photo of the actual copy? Just ask.

Grading

CGC & PSA slabs

Every slab's certification number is in the listing, so you can check it on the CGC or PSA website. Signature Series (yellow label) slabs are marked SS.

How long does shipping take?

We ship from Honolulu by USPS, with tracking in your shipping confirmation. Checkout shows the USPS services for your address and, when available, their delivery estimates – estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates (see our Shipping policy).

Comics ship free within the US on orders of $100 or more. We ship comics to US addresses only.

How do you describe the condition of raw (ungraded) books?

Raw books aren't professionally graded, and the listing doesn't give a grade unless it says so. New releases are new copies; back issues may have been owned before. All sales are final, so if condition matters, ask us for photos of the actual copy before you buy.

Can I pick up my comics in store?

Yes – choose in-store pickup at checkout when it's offered for your books, then wait for your “Ready for Pickup” notification before coming in (checking out doesn't mean it's ready yet). Want your weekly comics held for you? Ask at the counter.

What is your return policy for comics?

All sales are final – no returns or exchanges except where the law requires (see Returns & exchanges). If your order arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, contact us right away.

Is the photo the actual book I'll get?

For graded slabs, yes – the photos are of that slab. For raw books the photo may be a sample cover (it says “Sample Image — Not Actual Item” on it); you get a copy of that issue and cover, not the copy pictured.
